I’m Jane Springer and it is my great honor and passion to help you get from where you are now to where you want to be with your blood sugar numbers, weight, and overall health. You can feel strong, energetic, and empowered.
Of course, my own life has given me multiple opportunities to grow. Divorce, single parenthood and chronic health challenges ( chronic fatigue syndrome, celiac disease (automimmune) and multiple food sensitivities,) weight fluctuations, and developing prediabetes. These challenges are what have made me really appreciate the healthy and happy person I am today. Of course, it wasn’t exactly a walk in the park to get to this point and it hasn’t always been easy.
My health suffered and I was prone to eating for comfort, especially sweets. From my childhood, it was always a way of dealing with stress, and as a result my weight was always fluctuating. My weight went up and down. Life was pretty chaotic for a while. I felt like I had little control of my circumstances. Eventually, I got my life AND sense of self back, , but it took the support of a wonderful therapist, friends and family, and taking my own spiritual journey to health and wholeness.
After I turned 50, my weight gradually crept up. I had thought I was eating very well, with 6 small meals a day. After all, that’s what the doctors told me to do, so that my blood sugar would not go too low. Looking back, I’m sure that contributed to my gaining weight and developing prediabetes. Once I decided to actually change the way I was eating and started using helpful tools I learned from a great coach, I finally got myself out of the prediabetic zone and lost the weight that I had gained in midlife.
In the end, all those struggles left a profound impact on me. They also gave me a new, enriched perspective on how I could help others achieve what I have.
This perspective led to my calling to help others as a certified Martha Beck life and wellness coach and guide them toward a healthy, confident, energized, and satisfying life.

When I’m not helping my clients reverse their prediabetes and lose weight as an added bonus, I’m definitely not kicking back! I have a wonderful husband, a successful daughter, a talented stepson and two delightful grandchildren.
I also thrive on volunteer work at a therapeutic riding stable and staying active in my church teaching religious education and a marriage prep class with my husband. I am always happy to incorporate scripture and other faith-based encouragement into your coaching, if you desire that.
